A tall shrub with large deeply-lobed glossy green leaves arch out of a single stalk. Can take deep shade to coastal sun. Flowers are hidden inside a large white modified leaf called a spathe, often hidden under the giant leaves. Cold Hardy, can handle colder temps with some protection.
