That’s a nice Aloe marlothii hanging out in the Dogpatch. Nice? Just nice? No no sorry no, I meant awesome. Gorgeous. Fancy.
We planted a new planter bed with a lot of really big cactus in Marin – we do have a store there now! I see a spectacular San Pedro and some gorgeous blooming grandiflora hybrids too. Nice!
And here is Cris!
And here the team is wearing Tyvek suits to prune the prickly pear. Glochids! They come prepared.
Gorgeous winter flowers, shade tolerant! Dry in summer! Hellebores are the best.

That’s an Echeveria “Blue Dude” right there! It’s an older style hybrid, so you know it’s back in fashion now. Hurry before it cycles back out.
We recently delivered a giant 9ft tall Euphorbia “Ammak” down all the way to Los Altos. At least we thought it was giant. It sure looked giant in our store greenhouse!
But as you can see it is the small Euphorbia there! They’ve been growing them for many years and the new one looks tiny! Nice.
Thank you for our new 9ft Euphorbia Ammak. She is settling in nicely next to her larger family members!
Best,
Lorilynn
RoseAnn sends along a photo of her garden, “The daffodils and aloes are going crazy”.
Indeed they are!
We’ve had such stunning blossoms from this cactus we purchased from you 3 years ago. Thought you’d like to see our biggest crop yet! The photo was taken today.

Agave americana on Channing Way in Berkeley. In the sidewalk strip? That’ll outgrow that so fast! Hopefully there aren’t any kids riding bikes near there.
