BAMBOO

Cactus Jungle in Berkeley carries a select group of bamboo plants that are perfectly suited to the Bay Area's mediterranean climate. Most are very low water or summer drought-tolerant, meaning no additional irrigation is needed at all, once the plants are established in the ground (although a monthly watering is nice, too). Many are useful for containers, both indoors and outdoors.

Our clumping bamboos are non-invasive; our running bamboos can be contained in a pot, trough, or with rhyzome barrier.

Cactus Jungle sells bamboo plants in 1 ga., 5 ga. and 15 ga. pots.
Delivery is available in Berkeley and throughout the Bay Area
