Tuesday, May 22. 2007We Get QuestionsQ: Gidday from Australia,
I am trying to propagate this cacti (Mammilarica hemisphaerica) from seeds and I was wondering if you could tell me how to tell if they have started to grow? I have some little thing popping up but this is my first time. Could you tell me what I would first see when they start to grow? Many Thanks, Debi A: Debi, Cacti seed germinates to odd little green things that look sort of like a pale green rice grain with a odd little alien mouth at the top which is the cotyledons of the seedling. After a month or more they will start to round out and eventually look like a hairy pea. Good luck with your seedlings, Hap Trackbacks
