Monday, November 19. 2007News BriefsJust trying to clear some of the news items out of my inbox.
From Dallas comes an article about Euphorbias. (E)uphorbias and their odd flowers have become darlings of celebrity florists and landscape designers, and new hybrids developed for gardens are readily offered. That's enough news briefs for today. I guess it was a pretty brief "News Briefs." Well, OK, one more after the break... From the South Florida Sun Sentinel. I don't know anything about this article. I haven't read it, I don't want to read it, and I don't think you should even click through, unless you live in South Florida and don't get the Sun Sentinel and so somehow missed this article in the paper. Then you should read it, and report back to the rest of us on it. OK?
What was I talking about? I think I'm getting a little loopy on the blog this late in the year. Oh yeah, the article I refuse to read. Here it is. Enjoy. I never believed that the foot-tall unnamed cactus I bought for a small succulent garden in a cutout area of the deck between my house and pool would hit the large overhanging eaves of the house in less than a year. The result: Annually I have to engage in bloody battle to get it under control. Phew, that was difficult. Trackbacks
